Our Mission & Approach

Fostering cultural exchange through artistic expression.

Based in the heart of Köln, Piano Piano e.V. is a small but passionate NGO dedicated to empowering young people across Europe. We believe that theatre and performative arts are universal languages that bridge gaps and build lasting connections.

Since 2022 when a bunch of young youth workers agreed to constitute an Informal group that in January 2026 transitioned to an official NGO status in Germany. Formerly Tycho Tychishe, now - Piano Piano e.V. is an organisation that was started by people who came from all over Europe and Ukraine.

Our main objectives are
- Promote elements of non-formal education as an integral part of the educational development of young people;
- Promoting active citizenship and European integration;
-Promoting environmental sustainability and protection through concrete actions as well as conscious attitudes;
- Create an inclusive space, where diversity is welcomed, accompanied, and shared. To promote reflection and action within the local, national, and European political framework. Stimulating creativity, recognizing its value and promoting its development in education;
