An interdisciplinary research and performance project collecting oral histories of post-war communities across Europe and translating them into documentary theatre.
Archive of the Unspoken spent eighteen months gathering stories from communities in Cologne, Vienna, and Bristol whose experiences rarely appear in official historical accounts. The resulting performance, a three-hour durational piece, invites audiences to move between stations and choose their own path through the testimonies.
A digital archive accompanying the production remains publicly accessible and continues to grow through community contributions.
